This adorable keepsake bonnet is made from a handkerchief. It is intended to be worn home from the hospital and then stored away until baby's wedding. It can then be unpacked and the stitches clipped for the bride to carry on her wedding day. What a wonderful keepsake gift! It comes with a beautiful poem on cardstock which reads:
I am a little bonnet
as cute as cute can be.
Would you ever guess a
hanky I used to be?
I can be worn home
from the hospital,
and again on special days.
You can then neatly fold me
until the Wedding Day.
Every bride must wear something old
so you can clip a stitch or two
and a wedding hanky will unfold.
And if per chance, it is a boy,
someday he still will wed.
So to his Bride he can present
the hanky he wore upon his head.
A small monogram may be added in the corner.
For monograms, please enter the initials in the order you would like them sewn. For clarification, you may enter the full name of the recipient, but please state that you want initials only. |
